	We've used the old MS GANN for two trips with great success and we've had a good relationship with the organisation who owns this ship. In wintertime they run a school for young sailors and educate them to be good Norwegian seamen! In summer they arrange cruises so they can finance some of the costs of running the school.
	The ex-Hurtigruten ship MS NARVIK is now the new MS GANN. This new ship arrived in Stavanger at the end of February 2007! The new MS GANN is a much bigger ship and a real upgrade in both space and accommodation. We used this vessel for the Woodturning Cruisein 2008 with great success! Much more space and better cabins. There is room for a total of 310 passengers. But we will only have 220 aboard to accomodate the space requirements reasons of this unique cruise. The demonstration/tuition room will be the former cardeck -approximately 400m2 (4,300 Sq ft). Every cabin has a shower and toilet. CLICK HERE TO SEE PHOTOS OF CABINS. The new MS GANN is 108,6 meters (357 sq ft) long, built in 1982, rebuilt in 1989 and 1995. This ship will be great for you and us and it will definitely make the Woodturning Cruise 2008 a fantastic place to be!
	At the end of February 2007, the MS Narvik was renamed MS GANN and the old ship became MS Sjokurs. The old ship to the left... Here you can see the difference in size! Click for a larger photo.
